Oh, Lego... we have never been disappointed in a Lego set before. This set is not fair. It does NOT come with a paper instruction manual like every other lego set we’ve ever had. You never to download an app. Also, these sets need the other sets to be even remotely fun. That was a huge bummer for my six year old who got two of the three needed sets.
Forcing people to use an app for instructions is an horrible move. Furthermore both the app and the idea behind it are frustrating, because the app is not about instructions manuals at all. It's business. I got the lego set 71362 and you need to scan a QR code to find the app but the QR code in the booklet is so small and blurry that it's impossible to get any focus with my camera. It took me about 15 min to finally get it, and I had to search for the right QR scan app to do so. Then I installed the Lego Super Mario app, and wow, it is almost 1G! Really, 1G for instruction manuals? Nope. Turns out the content is mainly marketing, promo, videos, and other features that you can't use unless you did buy the starter set 30385 ($130 just for a Mario figurine). The app is also very slow with a terrible UI. I don't usually post any negative review, but let's be honest, you made Christmas more complicated for people than it should be because of your business practices. Basically you're saying to people: "If you do not want to buy our overpriced starter set, then scr*w you". I can't even comprehend the 4.8 reviews, it doesn't make sense.
What a great marketing strategy, selling a game without the main character, sending them online for instructions and asking them to connect the main character that is not included. Shame on you "LEGO" for disappointing so many kid!!!!
as always get the set after almost 3 hours and half find out the bag number 8 is missing.... brake all the set... for returning the item because they rater give you a complete new set instead of just one single F..... bag!! Very frustrated!
