First off, this is simply priced higher than other sets of similar size purely because of the license with Nintendo. It's a bit ridiculous at this point, since a vast majority of the pieces aren't related to the IP at all. They're the same.as any other set. Second, there is no Mario in most of the smaller sets which still run 15-20 dollars. Do you think kids care about having 3, 4, or even 11 Mario figures? No, of course not. You know who does care about keeping the number of Mario minifigs to a minimum? Lego and Nintendo. Why? Well, to sell more sets of course. It's a greedy, manipulative, and scummy thing to do. Why more people don't call this type of underhandedness out, and instead usually sympathize with companies like we've seen so much lately (Our delivery drivers need your help! We've supported you for xx years, support us!), I will never understand.
It's a good, but overpriced set put out by companies worse than those that made 30 minute ads in the 80s.
Huge bummer! No instructions without needing a device to see them digitally. You need other sets to make this set fun. Not a great gift unless you gift all the sets together. Huge bummer for the holidays!
Does not come with instructions!! No i will not download the app to look at them on my phone. Ridiculous. They used to come with brilliant colored instructions. Now my child cannot play with them on Christmas morning. Going to send back. Bad move Lego.
This doesn’t come with instructions on how to put it together. You have to download some stupid app that is impossible to navigate! Really LEGO you want to save 2cents on something that probably cost $4 to make the charge around $20 for it. Not impressed and my son wasn’t on Christmas Day because we don’t have Internet at our home.
