Minha única reclamação é que esperava que aparecesse sobre o Orbital Air e o Crystal Palace (que não chegaram nem a ser mencionados), fora isso o livro tá incrível e bem imersivo, cheio de propagandas do mundo distópico e de Night City.
This review is for the kindle version used with the kindle app on an android tablet. It looks like there is a lot of information here, lots of artwork and text, just what I wanted.
The problem for me is that even on a 10" tablet it is quite hard to read the text (quite small) and make out details in the art. There seems to be no option to change the text size, there seems to be no way to zoom in on the art.
Needless to say this turns something that looks quite promising into an exercise in frustration. If the book could be updated to allow the reader to zoom in and read it properly, Im sure it would get 4 or 5 stars from me, but as it is Im considering trying to get a refund. Very disappointed.
When I originally pre-ordered this (probably 8 months to a year ago), it was advertised as the "Art of Cyberpunk". What I received was not an art book at all, but what could only be considered a "core lore book" for the actual RPG. Now, it isn't of course ...but it should have been. Very little art here folks; it is simply a glimpse into the world of Cyberpunk, and to me, not what was originally advertised. If you want an art book, this isn't it. I don't know if something like that will release in the future, but I will definitely hesitate before pulling the trigger. If you like walls of text and lore, lore, lore...then this book is for you! If you were expecting beautiful rendered art and concept work, then you'll have to go elsewhere.
This inadequate, politically-correct dribble was clearly meant to ride the Cyberpunk 2077 hype before its disastrous release.
The book (and initial reviews) seems to imply that it delves deep into the lore of Cyberpunk 2077, but it only gives enough info for you to just be excited and play the game itself, as this book only gives you trivial, Captain Obvious type lore that you can pretty much pick up in the game itself, which I suppose is the point, but if that is indeed the case, you're would be better off skipping this book entirely and just buying the actual game and playing it.
In summary, if you're interested in Cyberpunk lore, skip this book and just play the game itself (even if its glitchy). Or you could also avail of older Cyberpunk 2020 RPG books or the newer Cyberpunk Red RPG books for more "fluff."
