a lot of people dislike this game before it even came OUT not even giving this game a chance since day one i really enjoy this different take on Wolfenstein because in the main series it takes the story too serious even at moments when its ridiculous and way too over the top. this game acknowledges that but also doesn't takes itself serious and has charm while being in a fun adventure. these two sisters are the daughters of the main character in the Wolfenstein William J. Blazkowicz (spoiler) who ends up being missing and these two sisters jess and soph went on there own personal mission to searching for him. i love there dynamic and those little elevator cutscene that reminds me of "WET" with the only difference is that they're acting like kids: running around playing tag and stuff. i honestly think this game came out during and currently at the height of identity politics. if this game would've came out a few years back i think ppl would've view this game differently i think the problem is that ppl are judging the cover instead of playing it. or have high expectations because of the main series. i'm glad they did took a different approach to add in these characters i think they're a great addition to this franchise. no game is perfect every game has its far share of problems. what i also like this game is that there's a challenge factor like ps2 and ps1 games that's been missing in current gen and no there is no grind i just brought this game today and already at the middle of the game and played 3 different boss fights all bringing something new to the table and doesn't hold your hand.
cons 1. the online coop feature 2. shared lives 3. terrible A.I. that often doesn't revives you 4. some side missions can get boring real quick and the map contently changes destination 5. replay value Minimal unless you're really in too this game
pros great gameplay - responds well to the controls the main story is fun and over the top that ties in nicely to the main series without taking itself too serious Loveable main characters - (i really love Abby Walker she a genius but goofy at the same time. but my fav is Jessie "Jes" Blazkowicz) Unlockable skills compliment gameplay Open format allows you to play at your own pace Pep Signals are great tools in combat (that can give u health or armor)
This is not perfect, and it's not, sadly, as good as the last two, but it is better than The Old Blood. Great characters, love the setting and the sheer detail put into it, love the customization, but the huge negative for me was the lack of stealth game play. More than any game in the series before it, this one seems to want to force you to fight your way through a majority of it. Had the stealth been better, this would have been five stars. It's lengthy, has a ton to collect, see, and do, and fun characters that continue this ever-growing Wolfenstein story. Well worth a purchase!
It isn’t the same Wolfenstein as we all know and love but if you are a fan of the series you should like it. It wasn’t the best game I played but it was still pretty decent. I played with my brother in law through the whole thing and we had a good time! Probably wouldn’t of been as fun if I was playing solo. I would grab a buddy and play for sure! Overall I enjoyed the game it still has a Wolfenstein feel to it!
