Bought this as a replacement for my Deathadder so that I can keep the same 2 thumb keybinds. Working great so far after 1 month. It was at half the price of a Deathadder too!
Pros: - Ergo design and the textured rubber sides feel great - The plastic feels sturdy and high quality - No need to install any firmware - LED colour and pattern can be changed - I don't adjust the DPI on the fly, but that option is there too - Bought for $36.50CAD, which is below other mice with similar features
Cons - The clicking sounds is slightly on the loud side - Minor issue but the LED colour and pattern seem to reset after playing Borderlands 3. No issues with other games, so I'd blame that on BL3 and not on this mouse.
I had an issue getting it to work for games, you HAVE to update its firmware to fix a simultaneous mouse clicking bug, but there IS a patch, and it DOES fix that.
but beyond that, the polling rate switch has never worked, and the rubber pads get funky WAY too quick ive only had the mouse a couple months now and im not THAT sweaty lol. but already the rubber pads stink, and even trying doesn't remove all the stink
it is pretty cheap though ,does have a selectable dpi button, and works great otherwise, very comfortable, just wish it didn't use rubber pads..
This mouse was almost perfect for me. Never ever had an issue and did heavy gaming (Almost every day) from around April to December. Just 2 days ago I was playing a game and notice that the mouse was disconnecting from my pc. I tried reinstalling the drivers, plugging it into a different port, and even trying it on other pc's. The mouse would stay on if untouched, but rapid movements cause it to disconnect and turn off and thats a problem because for anyone who plays games, flicks and quick movements are essential for most competitive games. My thought was that maybe something was happening inside the wire but I realized that its probably just at the end of its road. Other than that, the mouse is almost perfect for me. The only other con i can think of is that the rubber padding on the sides get dirty too easily.
