Ive literally only ran about one 5amp battery through this thing from brand new and now it just quit working. I had it stored without the battery in a heated garage. My son and I went to use it for a project and it worked for a few cuts through some 1 1/2 pvc then just quit. I looked under my orders and it says the return date expired on the 31st of January. Now I’ll have to bring to a power tool store to have it looked at. There should be a way to get ahold of the seller of this. There should be a one year warranty on this
-Nothing really special. It’s a rather large tool for small projects, eg: plumbing, small cuts, tree pruning, cake decorating, etc. -This is NOT designed for demo work. The cut-stroke just isn't long enough. ("Hey Milwaukee: a stroke-length adjustment would be nice!") -Though heavy with a larger battery, it’s well balanced, even for one-hand use. -One big design flaw is the blade release. Unlike their Sawzall, which has a large, easy to use lever, the Hackzall has the tiny collar. It’s tucked in between an oversized shoe. And it gets HOT! To change a blade after use, you have to wait for it to cool down and find a child with small hands to switch them out. Sheesh.
