This game is nothing like the otherego games. This one has a fun idea but there are way too many tools, buttons, and functions to keep up with. You'll end up pulling your hair out trying to figure out how the commands.
Ordered this game for my son for Christmas, went to open and play it today but the disk inside is the wrong game!!!! Disk inside is portal knights not lego world. Waiting for a response to get Tim his fixed!
This game was either not new or was sold with a known flaw. The game did not load properly off the bat. We didn't know it wasn't working properly, we thought we just couldn't figure out how to play it. Then we watched a video on how to play it and the game could not and would not open any type of menu or options. Such a shame! Amazon did refund me but my Lego fan son was so sad to throw it Away
Great concept and love the potential of complex rendering open worlds. Poor development execution, miserable crashes with no recovery options and no fixes planned by WB games. Message "could not create save data" wipes all progress and blocks the creation of new games. We have received the message on 2 separate XBOX one consoles under 2 separate live IDs - one after 5 hours of play, the other after 8.
Not a great branding experience for LEGO and WB Games.
This is the LEGO version of Minecraft. A non-linear game that seems to be "clumsy" in terms of details and quality. Although I have not experienced issues saving game progress, like many other customers have reported, I have found several "glitches" in the game. For instance, when you are running through a landscape with many objects, the rendering engine will be overwhelmed and you will experience the game runs slow. Also, when you are digging up treasures, if the camera is too close to the walls or objects, your character may be sent back to the surface or just parachuted for no apparent reason. It is also possible to get stuck in the game, having levitating objects that do not ovey the laws of gravity. This is particularly annoying when this happens to treasure chests, which are supposed to fall if you remove bricks from underneath them. Another frequent issue is when you are chasing trouble makers to get LEGO pieces; sometimes, the piece will land off the map or be stuck in "limbo", and it is unreachable. This is very annoying in particular when it happens to gold bricks. I was very disappointed by the low quality of this game, since Tt is a company that has demonstrated attention to the detail, or at the least, they have been promptly in delivering hot-fixes and patches to other LEGO games.
