This game is OK. I haven't played any of the previous Brunswick bowling games, so I can't say how it compares. The graphics look really good. The bowling alleys range from fairly standard settings to classy night clubs or tiki bars. The glassy shine on the wood lanes and the balls looks great. The controls (using the two analog sticks) works quite well. That said, it seems a shame that they don't have an option for motion controls. And while it does the basics of a bowling game well, there's really not that much to it. I was expecting more to keep things lively. Maybe fantasy modes, crazy customizations, etc. But everything is just basic. Now there are realistic looking clothes, gear, and more balls you can buy with money you earn in tournaments. But the prices! It is an excruciating grind to earn enough money to buy anything. It's such a drawn out, painful experience to scrape up the money for a cowboy hat, or a cool looking bowling ball, it almost seems like they meant to have micro-transactions in it.
So in summary, if you want a straight forward bowling game, it's fine. Just don't expect any extra bells and whistles.
