It was quite good and I was enjoying myself until the game stopped loading one day - gives me the black screen with music playing when trying to connect to servers. I reinstalled it a few times -Once the install is over - the black screen comes back. I tried turning off the online portion and the saves show, but says to wait for the Installation to be over (which it was). I just don't feel like farting around anymore. Small glitches here and there I'm used to especially after fallout, but game breaking ones deserve one star.
I loved Origins and love games like the Souls games, Elder scrolls games, Fallout games, etc. but wow ! this is some steaming pile of crap type of game, I really got bored fast and couldn't even find the patience to not skip through the dialogue scenes, it was just not a game that made me feel a need to endure it or continue playing it to be honest, I played a total of 10 or so hours and called quits on it, shame on EA, and I have heard that mass effect is way worst. Save your money buy Witcher, Horizon, or wait for upcoming titles that sound promising and are sure to deliver.
Don't get me wrong. The game was fun yo play but about 3/4 the way through the game I felt it grinded way too much. So much so that the end came to a devastating halt and left me feeling empty and ripped off.
Several plot points were never expanded on, things were never tied together and there is no way to know who did what, or why, and why you were fighting this lackluster evil guy you never feared the entire game.
Points on why your comrades did what they did never tied in, why Wardens helped the bad guy in one region and were unnafected in another and so many other sub plots... Only to find out you had to buy the DLC to really understand the ending and sub plots.
This absolutely BRUTAL attempt to get me to buy the DLC failed miserably and just pissed me off. Unlike Dragon Age origins the plot progressed nicely, there were pros and cons to the decisions you made and the end battle was all encompassing of your choices. Inquisition had non of this.
I bought all the DLC for DA Origins, but will buy non for Inquisition. If you want a game to enjoy and drop half way through, this is probably it... But to finish up properly, expect to pay up for the DLC to understand what is going on.
EA is a train wreck, I was looking forward to battlefront... Not happening because they are cheaping out where it matters most, giving customers an experience they always remember. Dice and Bioware need to run!
