At first I wasn't too sure as the product is substantially cheaper than the other professional cutters, but this is certainly a great little cutter, good, clean, sharp edges across a variety of thick card and glides nicely with a metal ruler.
Downsides - the measuring isn't that accurate so you'll need to test on a piece of scrap card beforehand to get the correct depth
Quite a nice bit of kit if you can't afford a professional cutter. If you have had little experience in cutting mount board have a good practice first. You will need to measure and work out where to support the cutter (ruler or straight edge) in relation to where to cut. Give yourself plenty of time and remember it's sometimes easier to make two or three cuts than attempting one deep cut.
It’s a little tricky to get the sizing just right; too long and the knife will dig into the cutting board, increasing friction that tends to pull the cutter away from the rule. Too short, obviously doesn’t cut enough. It’s not bad, certainly much much better than the cheapos and not as good as the Über expensive. With practice and patience it’s worth it. Certainly recommend a heavy cutting ruler and a scalpel. Took me 3-4 boards to get satisfactory results; keep practicing with the length that twists counter intuitively, and has to be removed to adjust.
I cannot work out the very poor instructions to use this cutter. I can’t find anything on YouTube to help. I have therefore emailed the manufacturers to see if they can give more than a few words of instructions. The blade is very sharp so you don’t want to take any chances. I’m sure the cutter will be excellent, but I don’t know because I can’t work it.
