If your car shares a reservoir for the brakes and clutch, look for something else. I was surprised to have my clutch start squeaking and dragging after changing to this, but after some searching found some other instances. It’s more common with the former super blue version, but there’s something about this that does it too. Great brake fluid, just check your car’s configuration to make sure that’s all it will go to.
I find it a little nerve racking that when I was looking at the picture of the product it had J1703 which I was specifically looking for. I received it and while doing brake fluid flush I noticed on the can it had J1704 only and is different from picture on Amazon. Very sketch.
It's a good price point but it fades easily on the track. Granted, Sebring is hard on brakes but I suppose this would be fine in a Miata or similar lightweight car, or a heavier car at a lower speed track.
Why did they kill the blue?? Retarded, you can't tell when the bleed is done, that is if you change brake fluid once a year or three for that matter. It make no sense! One can is not enough. You will need two cans of this this overpriced juice from Bavaria to make your brakes completely flushed. I use a Motive Products power bleeder, never buy the plastic cap. It is crap, get the aluminum cap for the reservoir.
Or save money and buy DOT 4 from Prestone. Same boiling pointing...
