OK, I don't think this game merits spending even twenty on, but with its current wide availability for less than ten bucks shipped from a number of Marketplace sellers it's definitely worth a look. There are some nice variations (vertical scrolling, challenges, studio) for RB and GH veterans, and, although all songs are covers, after two hours of play I've discovered three songs unavailable elsewhere that alone may justify the price of admission:
Spirit Of Radio White Room Magic Man
I expect to find some others exclusive to this game also. A couple further notes: Calibrate your instruments! My system had massive lag with this game, whereas I play GH and RB with zero lag. Also, I don't believe you can do tour mode with bass only, which is a bit of a bummer for us bass fans. Oh yeah, sound fidelity is pretty awful. But still overall a good value or less than ten bucks. Charting is good, albeit easier than GH or even RB.
This game would be great if you like music or just want the game. When it comes to instrument picking, I found the Guitar part very hard, because you have to do something else. The drums, I just pressed the buttons on my ps3 controller. No wonder the rock game was cheap. Just be aware of what you are doing.
This game kinda sucks. Any Guitar Hero o Rock Band game beats it by far. It's hard to get used to the symbols and everything, so you can't hit the notes. I bought it because it was cheap, but didn't like it 15 minutes in and haven't played it again.
THIS GAME IS TERRIBLE. Here's why: It is NOT ROCKBAND as you know it. the notes are shaped differently, songs are poorly transcribed to game play, there is no metering on the staff as it approaches, the graphics SUCK, and the songs are horrendous in options and sound.
