I bought this on sale, it is a fun little game. I was never really into heavy metal, but still listened to it and this game has a sort of nostalgia that brings back memories when it plays some songs as your driving in your hot rod or talking to Ozzie! It is very cheesy at times, but in a fun way, typically Jack Black. It is not a game I can sit and play for 10 hours straight, but I use it to break up long game play sessions for something different.
This game was great, but had very odd gameplay mechanics. It seemed like it wasn't sure what kind of game it wanted to be. Some times it was adventure, some times it was an RTS. While for some this may be a nice break up in the monotony of the game, it all really broke apart the story and made things feel very cookie cutter.
Either way, this game is good for a laugh and has some great music.
Great soundtrack. The idea behind the game is fun. But it turns into the same repetitive thing over and over after a while. Too band they didn't do what GTA did and release the soundtrack. Some great, rare or hard to find tracks in here. Also voices by Ozzy, Lemmy, and Rob Halford, so that's cool.
This is a really fun game, but the combat system is a little touchy and kind of lame - it's too complex for a heavy metal theme when you just want to mash buttons. Still, overall this game is a lot of fun and presents some really fresh thinking.
