If you've ever googled how to convert a Wii Sensor Bar to USB you've probably found out that it's actually rather complicated because USB delivers 5V and a standard sensor bar requires 7.5V. That's because a standard bar has 5 IR lights per half, this bar only has 3 and you can easily run it off 5V. Get a simple little USB to Barrel Jack cable and you can splice it together with this one easily much cheaper than the ones that are sold with a USB connector.
Or just use it as-is with a Wii, seems to work fine.
When I first used this product with my Wii and my emulator, the cursor would constantly teleport to another position on the screen. It would work for like 5 seconds until it redoes the same thing. Kind of annoying.
The product was way late and I ended up using candles for my Wii. The packaging was also lacklustre. Just a plastic wrap around it and stuffed into an Amazon bag much too big for it. The bar does work and does it’s job nicely.
So far I have no problems with the device works well if you're not too close to it and it's placed properly one thing I should mention is that the cord is really thin which in my opinion makes it fragile but if it is placed out of the way and not moved there shouldn't be a problem this is a good replacement for lost sensor bar I would recommend buying this product
