Although this is not a scientific book per se, it is one of the most thoroughly researched books about behavior and habit formation I have read to date. A mist read for anyone seeking a step-by-step process to implement good habits in their lives and for making bad habits less and less impactful until they are replaced for good ones (as any good reader in the science of habits know, you can't really erase an habit but only substitute it for a good one with the same Cue).
