Using this thing at about 6 feet from my PC. There's a wooden desk between them and not much else. Works great most of the time and will randomly lose connection for a few seconds a couple times an hour if I'm in a particular orientation. I never had this problem with the previous model.
Bought this controller to connect to my PC to replace the older version that broke. Connects well enough (though it’s a self built computer and it doesn’t have Bluetooth, so I have to use the wireless adapter that belonged to the old controller). Comparatively it devours batteries far quicker than the old version, and the x, y, b buttons don’t always work, I have to hit them multiple times. Over all, just meh for the price you have to pay for an Xbox controller.
What a disgrace this controller is. I've had this controller for about 2 months and this is my second one. I returned the first one because the A button became loose after a week of having it. The same problem on this one plus the rest of the buttons became loose and the 3.5mm port is becoming loose as well and the USB charging port.
Right thumbstick click is messed up already. Same issue I used to have with the older Xbox One controllers. Guess I'm buying another wired 360 controller. It's too bad because everything else about the controller is great!
After about 3 months, the A and X buttons consistently ghost (don't register the input) when you press them - the controller is basically worthless for anything but slow games or games that don't use the pad. Getting a new one.
