Eu já havia lido um outro livro sobre a método do Wyckoff, mas esse realmente foi muito melhor, trouxe uma abordagem mais profunda e mais explicada de como esse método funciona. Não te entrega nenhuma setup (óbvio), mas te faz enxergar os mercados de forma mais objetiva e analítica. Esse livro é uma leitura essencial para quem deseja se aprofundar nos estudo do price action e principalmente nas fases que o mercado se encontra em consolidação (ranges).

This book is amazing but the print version of it is crap. DO NOT BUY! One diagram is completely wrong and it makes you learn the wrong things. The kindle version is actually correct but the print version has incorrect diagrams. Absolutely disgusting.

In my experience, most books on trading methodology are either:
(a) esoteric tomes written by mathematicians following a statistical approach that ignores human psychology and the influence of smart money/big money/operators; or,
(b) ridiculously simplistic 124-pg books that just give you a trading algorithm without a detailed, from-the-ground-up, explanation.

The former are only readable by math graduates and have questionable value because of their complete lack of consideration of the human factor. And the latter, whilst accessible to the person on the street, set you up to fail because they do not give you a comprehensive grounding in the market and the forces that drive price: things like market order volumes, limit order density, the effect of open orders, supply and demand, and the strategies of the smart money/operators - so when things get rough and you need to modify your approach, you are lost at sea because you simply don't have enough background knowledge.

I've been studying the fundamentals of price action relentlessly over the last year. Of course, I heard of Wyckoff and his ideas made broad sense and looked promising, but everyone that I read could only discuss his teaching sketchily - no authors appear to have a deep understanding, so I had shelved Wyckoff's theories.

Then I found "The Wyckoff Methodology in Depth". Imo this book is a game-changer. Incredibly detailed - And accessible to the person on the street. If you're an 'instant gratification monkey', do not read this book; instead buy any of the hundreds of short sketchy 'do this and you will win' books on the market. If you are a serious student of trading, buy "The Wyckoff Methodology in Depth". You won't regret it.

I found out about Raul only days ago from his website about Wyckoff. The translations on his website were pretty bad but the information so good I simply had to purchase the book even though reviews said the book too had bad translations. I can however tell you that this is not the case. Are there certain sentences which could be worded more accurately, yes there are, but if I had to give the translation of the book a mark out of ten it would get an eight!

Now I see some people say how the book goes over information which is already out there and its too simple but thats what you need. I have studied Wyckoff for a while now and there are certain aspects that have never been explained thoroughly. The best I have found is Wyckoff Analytics on youtube, however they dont explain things as well as Raul does. It might be because they constantly sell their courses so they save that info for there.

Anyway, I advise anyone who is interested in trading to get this book, anne coulins books and that is all you need. It might be because I have already read all the books and done the courses that I understand things a little better but Wyckoff and volume analysis is the most pure way to read the market.

Desperately needs an English speaking editor

This book is self published by author for whom English is not their first language. Now if you are going to do that you really must find an English speaker to do some editing for you. Without an editor, you end up with sentences like this found on page 26: "However, large tradings are those in which you correctly manage the position yourself within the range to take advantage of the trend movement." What does this even mean? Unfortunately, the book is littered with sentences like this, which feel like were constructed with a buzzword generator. I found myself having to decode sentences and do the editing in my mind before I could understand what the author was trying to put across. This made reading the book very tiring.
Much of the detail behind the Wyckoff method is explained in a kind of padded out, cut and paste format. There is a lot of text where quite often a decent diagram would have been better. One reason the author may have avoided more diagrams is because you need a magnifying glass to read some of the tables and charts in the printed version of the book. As a result, the read felt like a grind rather than building a clear picture from left to right.
There is some good information in the book. Some of it, like the areas of liquidity, are key but unfortunately they are only touched on rather being added to the picture as confluence. With a decent editor, I think this book could be re-structured into a much better explanation of Wyckoff. This would probably mean cutting out the padding and making the theory section more concise, and having a much larger section of the book dedicated to examples.

I have read many books on the Wyckoff method, but this is the first that breaks each stage down into such clarity, explaining the reasons each step happens, what it tells you and what to look for next.
Do not skip the first section on How Markets Move, like I nearly did, thinking this was basic stuff I already knew. There are some interesting points rather than the usual "look for higher highs and higher lows". Unless you are an advanced practitioner, am sure you will learn something in this section.
i am currently reading the book a second time for anything I have missed the first time. I very rarely do that.
This book is now in the top ten in my library and is the best value money I have spent while learning Wyckoff, definitely a lot better value than some expensive courses some people are offering!
