Overall, I am happy with the pedals. The Z axis is very resistant to dog/cat hairs, the X and Y axis have some strange bugs ingame but easy to work around if you know your mappings. All in all it wouldve been nice to have a way to securely mount to the floor as they tend to slide around on me alot. Nothing a bunch of duct tape couldnt fix. Even though they are plastic they seem durable so far, they are meant to be stepped on after all. Best value if your on a budget.
You most definitly need a sitting position that will give you a good foot angle so to have full range of its available motion and so it dosnt slide, noted there are marked anchor points yet i cant drill it into my floor at the moment.
It works as intended. Windows 10 64bit. Tested it on Arma 3, on the 'bird and 'hawk.
Have use this pedal system for a few months. Works fine but find the spring tension (return to center) difficult to tune and therefore use the pedals effectively. It's average, and workable for the price but will be investing in a better (and probably more expensive) pedal setup down the road.
These pedals have good range on the rudder input and also on the brakes. I only wish the pedals were slightly more spaced out, then these pedals would be perfect at the price. I've had them for a year now and they function same as they did out of the box.
Initially had problems setting it up. X-Plane ll started doing some weird things, with some of the controls on my joystick (Saitek AV8R-02) giving strange inputs. Both the pedals and the joystick were plugged into the same usb hub. When I removed the pedals from the hub and plugged it directly into a pc usb input the problems ceased. I'm very happy with the way it works now.
Decent set of rudder pedals to start out with. Response is good, sensors work smoothly, and the toe brakes are an added bonus. My chief complaints are that the foot pedals are a little close together, and the spring tension to bring the pedals back to neutral is not strong enough to work with your feet on the pedals. Overall though, I’m glad I purchased it to complete my T.flight HOTAS setup!
I'm a student pilot on a Cessna 172 and bought those pedals to practice ruder control in X-Plane. The feeling is similar to the real pedals in the airplane. I'm very satisfied considering the reasonable price.
not enough strong "central force ". But it's a common problem for all rudders. and I don't know if the problem if FSX2004 or this rudder. This rudder's "brakes" can not be fully release in FSX2004 steam version.
Pedal and brake travel are good an linear and this product works quite well with MSFS200, however one flaw is that when you are depressing the toe brakes it makes it near impossible to also move the rudder.
