2,0 de 5 estrelas Beautiful crab
Avaliado no Japão em 5 de agosto de 2015

The best graphic for next generation. The rest of it is crab.
They even got "tank assassination missions" there. Yeah... Finishing those bat-tank missions doesn't make me feel accomplished, but tired. Especially the riddler challenges. And mini games like defusing mines force plays to fight in a small area so drones can come from all directions and shoot the bat-tank dance to death.
The combat system sucks. It's all about counters and special moves. And for many times counters and environmental interaction attacks just don't happen after input, drawing players attention and luring them to drop combo and putting the bat in danger.
And there's not so many contents in the game. It's all repetitive mini games. And the dead stoke final mission, it's actually the same as the tank boss fight against arkham knight.
And those scattered DLCs... What's the point of playing Harly Quin for 16 minutes?

For all of the hype this game is really boring. I thought it would be fun but its really drawn out and the controls are horrible. You have to use the bat mobile all of the time and I really could care less for it. The combos and moves batman has are fun but then if you press the wrong button guess who shows up the damn batmobile.

I was expecting much more and I am always trying to figure out what I was supposed to be doing.
All in all disappointing and I will play when I am really bored.

2,0 de 5 estrelas Terrible storyline and even worse gameplay.
Avaliado nos Estados Unidos em 25 de fevereiro de 2016

Ugh. This game is a chore to play. Arkham City built upon the great Arkham Asylum, offering great combat, some nice stealth moves, liberal and creative use of "detective mode," an awesome storyline, and a dark and foreboding setting. Arkham Knight gives us fantastically rich and detailed graphics, a combat system that remains essentially the same but offers some great new moves, and a sandbox Gotham that theoretically allows you to explore the city. What could go wrong?

The Batmobile, that's what. It's terribly implemented. It wouldn't be so bad if the game didn't require you to use it. For example, early in the game you are required to bust into a chemical plant and take out the bad guys. In the previous two games, you would batclaw up to the roof, find an entry point, and sneakily make your way through the ductwork, etc. to take out the thugs. In Arkham Knight, you have to find a way to get the Batmobile up a series of ramps and over obstacles so that you can use it to take out some drone tanks before you power an out-of-order elevator so you can get into the building. Once that is all done, you just end up blasting a hole in the brick wall that was, very mysteriously, impervious to the Batmobile's missile attacks just minutes earlier. Then, as you head out, you have to drive the Batmobile onto a lift, get out of the car and walk a few feet to the switch, move the elevator up, walk back over to the car and climb a short wall, and get back into the Batmobile. It's so incredibly stupid that it yanks you out of the storyline repeatedly. In the old games you would just Batclaw and soar across the skyline; in the new game you have to drive this huge, hulking Batmobile through streets way too narrow for it.

As if that wasn't bad enough, the slow of the gameplay and storyline are constantly interrupted with these stupid "take out the drone tank" mini-games. They aren't difficult, but they take upwards of several minutes to complete (and some much longer than that) and are a huge and annoying hindrance.

If Rocksteady wanted to make the Batmobile such a central part of the game, it should have been a separate game or perhaps DLC content. As it is, forcing players to drag along the stupid car everywhere they go makes the game tedious and annoying. In the previous two games, I quickly got sucked in and would play for hours at a time without even realizing how much time had passed. With Arkham Knight, the Batmobile alone makes me painfully aware of how much time I am wasting playing this stupid game, not to mention the silly and hamfisted storyline.

Overall, I found Arkham Knight to be a tragic ending to an otherwise amazing game series. Play if if you like playing driving/tank games or if you just want to finish it for the sake of completion. Otherwise, skip it.

2,0 de 5 estrelas A step back for the series
Avaliado nos Estados Unidos em 31 de março de 2016

The final entry in the series and after all the delays and hype, it's a dud. It looks nice on the ps4. I'll give it that much, but the story is a huge step down in quality and the game play is much less fun than before. The batmobile ruins the game with its frustrating tank combat and time trials that only distract and disrupt the flow of the rest of the game. Such a shame. The rest of the series is great.

2,0 de 5 estrelas Not the best Batman game, but better than Arkham Origins...but still..stay away.

Voice acting was bad. The visuals were murky. You basically have to stay in detective mode to differentiate bad guys from the background. You have to spend WAAAAY too much time in the batmobile, which in most instances makes no sense. You are literally driving around on rooftops for some of it. They created a cool vehicle, and they decided to ram it into as much of the gameplay as possible, and at about halfway through it just becomes punishing.
There are side quests that you think you don't have to do, but after you defeat Scarecrow, it tells you you have to get "Gotham's 7 most wanted" to initiate some protocol that I guess shuts down the whole "batman" thing, but I wouldn't know because at that point I just shut it off and I haven't gone back to it. I finished the main story. Let the game end. Don't make me grind these stupid side quests.
This game is doing what a lot of other games are doing, which is adding the RPG character upgrade path. It was fine in previous batman games when it was basic and you could upgrade a few things, but this...there are way too many things to upgrade..new moves you can learn, and it just becomes too much to remember. Just let me play the damn game instead of constantly upgrading stuff. Just have the things upgrade automatically as I progress through the game. I don't want to manage all that junk. I have to micromanage stupid stuff for my day job, I don't want to have to do that in a video game.

2,0 de 5 estrelas Tank Batman *Update
Avaliado nos Estados Unidos em 7 de agosto de 2015

This is not Batman. This is battle tank Batman. The first 2 games were awesome and this has been a complete dissapointment. It's very hard to get use to the driving controls and every mission I feel is surrounded using the stupid Batmobile/tank. Very repetitive and I'm not shocked that they ruined this franchise, I never post unless I really need to warn others but I can tell you this game is awful. No plot, your left wondering around for hours to figure out what to do or where to go and it gets annoying after a while. I hate that they killed this game, what a shame.

Update Aug 31, 2015

Ok I was pretty critical in my earlier review and that might have been because the tanks REALLY pissed me off. However, after putting over 20+ hours into it I am only 60% through the game. There IS a plot and actually it just takes time to develop. The graphics on this game are amazing but because there is to much going on the PS4 controller gets laggy sometimes, I don't know if anyone else is having this issue, my controller is new. I also downloaded some extra content after the fact and seriously this game is addicting even if you hate it at first. I changed my review from a 2 to a 4 star. This turns around from a disappointment to a really sweet game, you just need patience.

2,0 de 5 estrelas Weakest of the series in my opinion.
Avaliado nos Estados Unidos em 2 de novembro de 2015

I gotta say I was really looking forward to playing this game. I have really enjoyed all previous Arkham games. But the forced batmobile gameplay is completely intolerable in my opinion. It ruins the game, it's just not fun. And it is a huge part of at least half the missions. Maybe it's just me but with the other games in the series, I always enjoyed the stealth aspects of the gameplay, the puzzles and mysteries, that's what made it seem like the batman universe to me. The clumsy batmobile just kills that whole experience, really destroys the lurking in the shadows, caped crusader kinda vibe. Instead your barreling through the city in a tank just smashing into stuff ricocheting off every surface. The character animations aren't great either and acting is stiff and unnatural, which I could deal with if the game were as fun as the other Arkham games. The graphics are great, the city is massive, but I found the gameplay to be tedious, frustrating and unrewarding. Glad I bought it used but wish I hadn't bought it at all. I am surprised at all the hype this game has received.

Kind of wish Bruce Waynes parents died in a hit in run just so the bat mobile wouldn't be a thing. The game roughly better looking then city. Though they claimed "The Bad Guy In 'Batman: Arkham Knight' Is Original Character 'The Arkham Knight'" the only thing that makes him original at all is that they changed the name of an existing Batman character.

The whole game is nothing more then a Batman and his car. The car would still be cool if it wasn't for the fact that most of the game is just solving minor puzzles to move the bat mobile around.

Over all the game is solid and plays well if you didn't buy it for PC. Gameplay is smooth, voice acting is great, storyline is ok (if you ever batman comics most of the story will not be new.) Worth getting if it's on sale or if you just love the bat mobile more then Batman.

2,0 de 5 estrelas Not Great...

I've enjoyed the Arkham series, but this one just didn't hold up. The storyline was not particularly engaging, and the game play stunted due to all the movie cuts. I played it for a total of three hour before resigning myself to let it go.
