Skim read were my golden flaxen-coloured paperbacks of Napolean Hill's classic "Think and Grow Rich" first published in 1937 ; " How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie first published in 1936; and "The Power of Positive Thinking" by Norman Vincent Peale first published in 1952. All three confirmed a high level of consilience with the Green book.
Author Don Green--Executive Director of the Napoleon Hill Foundation--argued that Hill's book "Think and Grow Rich" remains relevant today ; and his success principles continue to apply to anyone seeking re-affirmation of self ; personal accomplishment confirmation ; self-empowerment; and personal power and creativity enhancements. Green argues cogently that authenic personal success comes only from within the self. This requires inner strength; a strong sense of, and deep belief in, the self; and a vision or visualization, of future success put into action plans. Not surprisingly, the authors Green and Hill enjoy the same position on the inherent power of faith--self-reliance and a deep belief in ones self--as a prerequiste for true success.
For Green, faith is an outgrowth of the self-fulfilling prophecy when he suggests that one's mantra for success should be " I will see it when I believe it" rather than "I will believe it when I see it". Green argues that faith must be put into action to ensure that personal goals are achieved through careful and thoughful goal setting. Green also suggests that goals be set high, and reviewed every day, to ensure continuous movement toward achievement. Furthermore, personal success requires a positive mental attitude; continuous perserverance; supportive habits; and frugality.
In the end, the book encorporates a series of inspirational and affirmative fundamentals and advice for personal success by building and inhabiting what might be called the cathedral, or the temple, of the self. In sum, there is really nothing new here from the extant self-help literature. Some readers might view the principles, or tools, as simply new-age inspirational nostrums, folklore bromides, or ancient life hocus pocus. But readers who want a quick personal pick-me-up on the power of thought; the importance of the thought process ; and the impact of passion on personal success, will find the book a useful retrospective self-help amphetamine.

As a frenchy I was looking for its french traduction, but it doesn't exist yet... It was a must for me to read this even in english !
Actually it's easy to read ! A must to have at home !!
This book will help you in everything you may try !
Thank you DON M GREEN !

Knowing Don personally made reading the stories from his life even more fun. Like Jesus, when you talk to Don, you get stories/parables to illustrate his points. Don is a great storyteller, both in his book and in person. I laughed out loud a few times while reading the story about his zoo at home which was his first business venture as a teenager.
Don's stories and life experiences are all meant to direct you to the timeless, proven, success principles that Napoleon Hill wrote about. Don lets readers know very clearly that their thoughts will determine their lives and that we all have the ability to choose our own thoughts.
Don is receiving no money for this book. All proceeds go to the Napoleon Hill Foundation. Don is a true giver, following in the footsteps of his mother who was also a generous woman.
Do yourself and the Napoleon Hill Foundation a favor and purchase and read this book. As W. Clement Stone would say, Do It Now!
