Bioshock: The collection is an excellent compilation of some of the best first person shooting last generation. The trilogy will take you upwards of 50+ hours to complete everything, but keep in mind everything is not perfect. In terms of the remaster quality, Bioshock 1 and 2 had the best treatment, but prepare for intense memory leaks and frame rate problems in Bioshock Infinite(especially the dlc). Beyond that, you're looking at quite the collection here, and for the most part id say its worth the price of entry.

Alright, I'll get the important stuff out there first: It's 2 discs, that's something I wasn't expecting. They're stacked on top of each other which bothered me a bit, whereas the PS4 version has one disc on each side of the case. Also, between all 3 games you're looking at around 70GB of install space required to play.. so if you're tight on space on your HD, buy an external, or I'd stay away from this unfortunately.

Now, as for the games themselves, they're amazing. I bought this with the intent to replay the first Bioshock and Infinite, both of which are some of my favorite games of all time. I've re-beaten Infinite, and am going through the first currently before finally beating the second. I will say, these games hold up not only with graphics and the updated HD textures, etc, but with gameplay. I am having so much fun reliving these titles and the stories still captivate me as much as they did when I first played. If you've played them before, I recommend still picking this up if you're willing to enjoy them again, you won't be disappointed. If you've never played them before and want great first person shooters with amazing stories, you need to pick this up and experience Bioshock immediately.

I'd give 5 stars for the games themselves but had to knock a star due to the two discs stacked atop eachother and the massive amount of HD space they take to play. Load times are also a bit slow but not enough to drive you too crazy. Ignore the star knock though, go and buy this!

2 of the best games ever (Bioshock 1 and 2) and Infinite (another good to great game) for $35.

If you haven't played any of these, it's definitely worth buying this pack. Just do yourself a favor and turn off Bioshock 1 before the last level. If you do that, the game is a masterpiece.

Love Bioshock hate the glitches!

Love this game love this series. Played it on the 360. So why no 5 stars??? It still has several glitches that cost me play time!!! Bioshock 1 wasn't to bad. I only had one instance where there was a lot of action on the screen and it bugged out and froze. I had to way backtrack to my last save and redo everything. Fort frolic has a known glitch where you get there kill the splicers and ...nothing happens. Your stuck because the doors don't open. Again you have to backtrack to your last save and do it again... Bioshock 2 I got smart about saving constantly. There were several times (especially with BIg sister battles) where in the middle of the fight it froze bugged out and had to go back to the last save. That even got screwed up at the end of the game, one of my saves kept glitching so I had to go back to a previous save and play through again. This is rare and I googled a few forums and I'm not the only one this happend to. All in all beautiful graphics I played through using a different strategy and got a different ending which is fun. Did not play Infinite yet not sure if that one has any bugs.

The only game that was noticeably changed was the first Bioshock. It ranks for me in one of the best remastered games I've ever played. Every aspect of that game is improved, including fluidity. Bioshock 2 was far less impressive in terms of upgrades. The graphic updates were barely noticeable, lighting was a little better (maybe), but the game had trouble running at 60 fps most times. Finally, Bioshock Infinite is virtually unchanged. I didn't notice any improvements in terms of fps, and the game lagged for me. Although the last two games were barely changed, the remastered Bioshock 1 makes it all worth it.

just got it started to play infinite, then realized oops maybe i should play 1 and 2 first .. not much instruction ... but I like the game very much so far. put it aside for Skyrim which finally arrived today.

The game play is amazing I absolutely love it ! Only thing is I have had a few times where the game has frozen and shut down . But it could just be because I play for hours at a time and it is summer so it's really hot in my house . Other than that amazing game I seriously recommend it .
